Intimate Weddings at Little Hills

A Celebration of Love, Land, and Legacy

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels like you—quiet, intentional, and deeply beautiful—this is where your story begins.

At Little Hills, weddings are about more than a ceremony. They’re a soulful celebration rooted in nature, meaning, and mindful simplicity. Tucked away in the peaceful Worcestershire countryside, this exclusive retreat hosts only a handful of weddings each year—each one designed with care, creativity, and conscience.

Small in Number, Big in Meaning

We welcome just 12 people per wedding—including the couple. This creates space for connection, presence, and the kind of unforgettable moments that can’t be scheduled.

There are no clinking glasses, no DJs or dancefloors. Instead, you’ll gather beneath open skies, surrounded by vintage rugs, mismatched wooden chairs, and fairy-lit trees. After the vows, your guests will join you around the fire for a gentle intention-setting ceremony—led by our in-house therapist, Sam—before retreating into a night of stillness, starlight, and soul.

You’ll be joined not only by the people who matter most, but by the wildlife who call Little Hills home—owls, deer, and curious songbirds who often appear as if invited. They are your quiet witnesses, your unexpected guests.

A Wedding Without the Stress

You don’t need to worry about styling or decorating a venue—nature has already done that for you. The trees, the views, the wildflowers, the light. They set the stage, effortlessly.

Everything is taken care of by our green wedding planner, who will guide you through every detail and work with local, sustainable suppliers to bring your vision to life. You won’t be juggling logistics or choosing colour schemes. This is a wedding where you get to arrive, exhale, and be present.

A Sustainable Wedding, Naturally

We believe weddings should be earth-friendly and heart-full. From pre-loved gowns and reclaimed chairs to ethical florals and seasonal menus, everything we do honours simplicity and sustainability.

Our carefully selected local suppliers share our values, ensuring every aspect of the day supports small businesses and treads lightly on the land.

A Retreat Experience, Not Just a Wedding Day

This isn’t a one-day event—it’s a two-night wedding retreat designed for stillness, celebration, and meaningful connection.

The bride-to-be arrives the day before the ceremony with her bestie to unwind and enjoy exclusive use of the retreat. Together, they can take a dip in the wood-fired hot tub, cool off in the cold water plunge tank, or sway gently in the hammocks beneath the trees.

There’s time to enjoy the private outdoor cinema, stroll through the gardens, or rest in the valley-facing day bed geodome. Holistic therapies with Sam are available to soothe the body and mind, setting a calm, grounding tone for the day ahead. After the ceremony, the couple stays for a second night—their first as newlyweds. The retreat becomes entirely theirs once more: the fire, the stars, the silence. A rare moment to just be, together. Your guests stay nearby at Hop Pickers Retreats and are brought in by private minibus to preserve the peaceful setting and reduce traffic.

A Ceremony in Harmony with Nature

The ceremony takes place in a peaceful, tree-lined clearing, just steps from the cabin. There’s no archway or altar—just nature as your backdrop, and love at the centre of it all.

As dusk falls, the fairy-lit trees transform the space into something quietly magical—perfect for twilight vows or fireside reflection.

To welcome the marriage in a deeply connected way, many couples choose to share a group yoga class or sound bathwith their guests. These gentle experiences mark the beginning of your new chapter—not just as a couple, but in community with those closest to you.

The Future of Weddings Is Wild and Intentional

Nature’s Edge Cabin offers a bold alternative to the average wedding:

  • No noise. No pressure. No endless to-do lists.

  • Just you, your closest souls, and the quiet power of the land.

  • A place where the pause is the celebration.

  • A place where love speaks softly, but is felt deeply.

  • A place where your story begins—not with grandeur, but with truth.

A Ceremony Rooted in Presence and Intention

At Little Hills, love isn’t just witnessed—it’s honoured, held, and deeply felt. That’s why we offer the option for each guest to write a heartfelt intention or wish for the couple’s future, which is collected in a keepsake book as a lasting memory of the day.

It’s a quiet, powerful act of collective blessing—something far more lasting than confetti or clinking glasses. Guests are also invited to share meaningful stories about the couple—moments of laughter, of love, of growth. These stories, shared gently by the fire or in quiet moments throughout the day, deepen the sense of community and connection around the marriage being formed.

The Night Before: A Return to Calm, A Release of Fear

The evening before the ceremony isn’t about rehearsals or formalities—it’s about letting go.

After arriving and settling in, the bride and her bestie are gently welcomed into the rhythm of the retreat. Here, beneath the open skies and surrounded by stillness, we create a space to release fears, expectations, and any ego-driven energythat doesn’t belong in the sacred act of marriage.

Ayurvedic facials and massages are available to soothe the nervous system, while time in the hot tub or hammocks, or simply walking barefoot on the earth, grounds the body.

The evening is designed to return you to your natural state of being: love—so you begin your marriage not from stress or spectacle, but from a place of peace, presence, and wholehearted joy.
